From June to December 2026, guided visits to one of the best-preserved thermal complexes in the Roman world
Guided tours of the Suburban Baths, among the most fascinating and best-preserved buildings of the ancient city, resume at the Herculaneum Archaeological Park. Following the positive response of previous editions, the project returns in 2026, offering an exclusive opportunity to experience firsthand one of the most significant sites of Roman daily life.
Tours will take place every Saturday during the opening months, using a limited access system that ensures a thorough and safe experience. Groups of up to 15 participants will be accompanied by Park staff, with materials accessible via QR codes. Visitors will wear protective helmets for the entire duration of the tour (approximately 1 hour).
The reopening of the Suburban Baths represents an important opportunity to return to the public an extraordinary space, rich in evidence of the private and social life of ancient Herculaneum. Escorting visitors to discover these spaces means offering an authentic and participatory learning experience, grounded in respect and protection of a unique heritage.

Visiting shifts
Groups of up to 15 participants per session. Six sessions during the summer months, five starting October 17th (winter schedule).
Morning
9.30 – 10.30 am visit in Italian
10.30 – 11.30 am visit in English
11.30 am – 12.30 pm visit in Italian
Afternoon
2.30pm – 3.30pm visit in Italian
3:30 – 4:30 pm visit in English
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Visit in Italian (suspended from October 17th due to winter opening hours)
The meeting point is the Marco Nonio Balbo Terrace, indicated on the Park map provided at the entrance.
Tickets and reservations
Integrated ticket: €21 (€16 park entrance + €5 Suburban Spa visit)
18–25 years: €5 (discount provided by current legislation)
