“Herculaneum 3D SCAN“ was born from the desire to share in advance with the community, both the properly scientific community of insiders and the broader public, part of the very rich database collected as part of the many years of documentation and monitoring of the archaeological site of Herculaneum made possible thanks to the extraordinary contribution of the Packard Humanities Institute. A shared experiment that aims to explore not only the new ways of virtual enjoyment of the Cultural Property, a reality well known to the general public, but also the potential in terms of a working tool for the sector.
