Illuminated domus, local wines, and live jazz: the final evening of the series, from 8:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The first evening on October 3 was an overwhelming success: it was sold out, and the audience was enthusiastic. The Herculaneum Archaeological Park isn’t slowing down and is back on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 8:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with “Wine Spot at the Excavations”: a special evening event offering a unique way to experience the site like never before, featuring illuminated domus, local wines, and live music.
Amid artistic lighting and with Vesuvius watching over the scene in the background, visitors can stroll along the self-guided tour route designated by the Park Administration and then treat themselves to a break fit for true connoisseurs: a tasting led by professional, certified sommeliers, exploring native wines and wineries from the Vesuvius region and Campania. Providing the soundtrack for the evening will be a jazz trio performing a live acoustic set.
The “Wine Spot agli Scavi” event was conceived by Drop Eventi (The Band Agency S.r.l.) and organized in collaboration with the Herculaneum Archaeological Park. It offers an opportunity to experience the site in ways that go beyond a traditional tour, fostering a dialogue between cultural heritage, local products, and contemporary culture.
Seating is limited: a maximum of 650 spectators per evening. Given the success of the first show, we recommend purchasing your ticket in advance.
A quick reminder: To help protect the museum and the archaeological site, please note that you are not permitted to bring your own glass into the excavation area or inside the Antiquarium. Thank you for your cooperation.

• Tickets: full price 30 euros; reduced price 22 euros (ages 18–25, EU citizens, and, on a reciprocal basis, non-EU citizens); subsidized rate: 20 euros (minors aged 13–17, Park season pass holders, and individuals legally exempt from paying the general admission fee); free for children 12 and under

• Weather: In the event of adverse weather conditions, the event may be canceled; tickets will be reissued for a new date or refunded upon request
