CAUTION: The closing times refer to the Park’s gates at Corso Resina and Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi, so it is recommended to leave the archaeological area and the refreshment areas in good time in order to reach the exits by closing time. Open: Monday to Sunday. Closed: January 1, December 25.

The ticket should be shown at the entrance, either directly on a smartphone/tablet (QRcode) or already printed and then kept for registration at the turnstile.

  • The site will be open free of charge every first Sunday of the month and on the following dates: 25th April, 2nd June and 4th November. Reservation is not required and can not be made online. The free admission ticket must be collected on the day of the visit directly at the ticket office.
  • Young people between 18 and 25 years of age ticket price €2 
  • Free entry and reduced rates as per regulations (reservation is always necessary. The pre-sale charge of € 1.50 does not apply to free tickets)

  • The Ancient Theatre will remain closed until further notice for urgent, widespread extraordinary maintenance work, funded by Law 205-2017, Article 1, Paragraph 1072 – Redevelopment of the Via Mare area’s architectural heritage.

  • The season ticket will be collected at the Archaeological Park ticket office on the first visit.
  • Subscriptions can be purchased on site and online at ercolano.coopculture.it
  • Visitors show their season ticket, booking and ID at the entrance.
  • All season tickets are valid for 365 days from the first use, those purchased earlier and up to 30th June will be valid until their natural expiry date.
  • The season ticket is valid for all ordinary admissions to the Park, while all specially ticketed events and evenings are excluded.

CAMPANIA ARTECARD

It is possible to use the Campania Artecard PASS to access the Herculaneum Archaeological Park, also in the LITE version. All details on www.campaniartecard.it Visitors in possession of a Campania Artecard should go to the Park’s ticket office to activate the card.
